Riding the Atlantic Coastal Route from Bergen to Nordkapp is one of the truly great cycling adventures to be had. Every day the scenery will wow you and the contrasts in nature and terrain will keep you entertained and amazed throughout this long trip North (or South)
In total, it’s just over 2000km, and for many people that may seem too far, or perhaps lack the time available to complete it. Indeed, running Cycle Norway is a full time and my long bikepacking holidays are now on hold. Nevertheless, In the next few weeks, I want to show you how you can enjoy and experience this incredible coastline without needing a month off work. Tonight I arrive in Bergen and I will spend the next 8 days out of 10 on the road cycling roughly 80km each day. However, I will travel over 1400km (two-thirds of the route) and witness many incredible areas without requiring too much cycling. How?
