The North and Arctic are as special as it gets for cycling. Twenty-four hours of daylight through a remote landscape covered in high-raised mountains, glaciers, and tropical-looking beaches all await. Furthermore, thanks to the Gulf Stream the Norwegian Arctic coast has above-average temperatures for its latitude. On certain days it can be warmer than Spain! Nevertheless, the area’s limited roads mean there will be plenty of long tunnels to pass through (some are actually fun to cycle) and in Finnmark, the main E6 road is your only option for certain sections. These inconveniences are minor compared with the fresh arctic air, space, remoteness, and sense of wonder. This area includes, Brønnøysund, Bodø, Lofoten, Senja, Tromsø, Nordkapp, and Kirkenes
