After a warm and sunny May, June has been a bit underwhelming in southern Norway. Temperatures for the past few weeks have been below average and night temperatures less than ideal for camping. Nevertheless, as I mentioned in my livestream this week. The weather in Norway is characterised by periods of low and high pressure coming in from the North Atlantic. The low pressure that has been hanging around for the past few weeks looks set to be replaced with some well-deserved high pressure starting on Tuesday 25th June.

The whole of Southern Norway looks set to experience mainly warm and dry weather for at least 4-5 days. Northern Norway will not be as blessed but temperatures remain mild with limited rainfall. This really is a great time to be riding your bike here in Norway and we hope as many of you will be riding a route from the site in the coming week!
