Hi, Matthew et al –

I’m a big fan of your channel and didn’t hesitate to become a paying member. I’ve previously been to the Ålesund, Øye, and Gerainger area. I’ve commented on your recent video re:Øye as I agree that road is spectacular and after becoming an avid cyclist, it’s been a dream to go back and cycle that amazing part of the world.

I’m from California and will be flying into Ålesund, and will be staying in Øye, Geiranger and Rauma (near Trollstigen) from June 17 – 24.

A rental at Uteguiden runs 600 NOK/day, which is reasonable, but not if you’re looking at an 8-day rental (4,800 NOK!). I’ve inquired about multi-day discounts, but I thought I’d ask here for better options and/or for anyone who may be in the area and is willing to rent me a road bike (54/56 – I’m about 5’10/178cm).

Additionally, are there any options to rent a rack/carrier to transport a bicycle on a rental? I might have to buy a Rockbros suction carrier that runs about $150 usd on Amazon.
