    Hi Berno,

    It looks like a fantastic route!
    And certainly a tough one! There have been serious storms in the area over the past 48 hours, and some gravel roads may be damaged. I’m unsure when you plan to go but check with locals and look out for signs. There is a small chance that not all of the route may be rideable if there has been significant damage. The gravel sections have paved road alternatives should you need to turn around. Hopefully, everything will be all good, but it’s good you know the current situation.

    The great thing about this ride is you have small sections of complete wilderness/remoteness followed by small towns that you can stock up at.
    Logistically it makes it very easy to keep supplied and to find shelter when required,
