Norse Odyssey

n one of Norway’s most renowned cycling destinations, we’ve combined the three top gravel routes, MjølkevegenRallarvegen, and Tour de Dovre, to create a mega route traversing the vast central highlands. Convenient train connections await you at both the start and end points, earning it a logistical thumbs up. The scenery is nothing short of breathtaking, offering a delightful blend of eastern forests, central highlands, and stunning fjord vistas. It’s the kind of journey many first-time visitors to Norway embark on, and chances are, you’ll find yourself returning the following year for more exploration.

When to ride the whole route: from Mid-July to Sept.

You can usually ride Mjølkevegen and Tour de Dovre in mid-June and half of Rallarvegen. You can take a train from Finse to Myrdal and skip the section of Rallarvegen still covered in Snow if you cycle it in June.
