I have an insider tip for you to stay overnight on the Fjord-Norway route for free. There is an old train station with a wild camping site on the route. The place is called “Maurholen” or “Maurholen Stasjon” (it was recommended to us by a local from Egersund). There is even a well-kept toilet with a sink and toilet paper, which is cleaned by city employees in the morning. Maybe Matthew can include this spot as a POI.
