Trondheim – Kristiansand

Kristiansand – Trondheim: This is one of the routes that might not necessarily interest some people. Yes, it misses the fjords. But if you know Norway well, take a closer look and see how many amazing areas it passes through. This route could actually be in the gravel series as there are many unpaved roads and traffic is light on many stretches. There are no long tunnels or ferries to worry about and it is slightly less challenging than some of the other mountainous routes. There is even the opportunity to take a gondola with your bike up onto the Hardangervidda plateau saving you a 600m climb. If you’ve been to Norway before, you may have cycled the coast. This could be the perfect second trip (or first)!
