Base/Day Rides

Stavanger

Stavanger is another stunningly located city but you are limited to the south and east areas to cycle. The coastline is very flat and I always get a feeling of Denmark. The highlights of this area include some of Norway’s finest beaches, a mixture of rural flat farmland and hilly rocky terrain, and one of Norway’s most stunning fjords (Lysefjorden). There is plenty of diversity in this area and a simple day ride should not be underestimated!
