Atlantic Coast Route

Stage 1

Bergen – Trondheim: The coastal route from Bergen to Trondheim is one of the most scenic on the planet. This is perhaps the least traveled part of Fjord Norway and a hidden gem for many cyclists that embark on this route. The combination of long remote country roads mixed with small pockets of cosmopolitan life gives many visitors the perfect balance of modern and traditional Norway. After days of being on your own, passing small farms, and perhaps camping wild, the sights and sounds of one of Norway’s picturesque west coast cities are a great way to break the journey up and perhaps treat yourself to some 21st-century amenities!
