Good point about the remoteness of route 9, I didn’t think about it in the context of public transport opportunities. So I think what we’ll do is use parts of the Kristiansand – Trondheim Route and see if we skip either from Vinstra or somewhere later. Seeing more of this country should be more important than doing the whole route self-powered.

I’d have one more question, how many days would you calculate for getting from the Nordkapp back to Oslo? Currently the plan would be a combination of Hurtigruten from Honningsvag – Tromso, somehow get to Fauske/Bodø and then take the train back to Oslo.
