Tromsø

I love visiting all the cities on this list. However, when it comes to uniqueness and location the world’s most northern city is at the top of my list. And better still it’s a cycling paradise during the summer months! Twenty-four hours of daylight mixed with snow-capped mountains and an Arctic blue sea. You also have two long bridges on either side of Tromsø Island that are fun to cycle across! Below you will find many different routes which may surprise some people. Most people are unaware of local ferries that visit remote areas ideally suited to cycling. I got help/advice from Tromsø Outdoors compiling this collection. They are the experts on cycling here and have one of the biggest ranges of rental equipment in Norway. If I fly up I usually rent a bike from them for the convenience it provides.
