Have been on the road for 2 months and have found service stations are great not only for toilets and filling your drink bottle. Apparently all Shell stations have free wifi as do many others. Many have cafe seating and plugs galore to keep your phone charged. Many do food of some description (like burgers and fries), which all makes for a very nice place to wait out a rainstorm. Especially on a Sunday when supermarkets are shut. Co op and Kiwi supermarkets also have free wifi. And don’t forget the biblioteks, extra good because you don’t feel obliged to buy anything.
