Hi Matthew (and of course others that might know this as well)
I am on route to Aursjø from Trondheim. I just saw that you have a route “Aursjøvegen Loop” in your collection. I plan to continue over the lake with my packrat if the weather plays alomg so I will do only one half of the loop. I wonder now which one is more interesting, say coming from Eidsvåg. The eastern or western route?
And did you cover this route somewhere in your videos? I could bet you at least have been talking about Åndalsnes somewhere, but I can’t find it.
Cheers,
Felix
Hi Felix, the gravel section coming from Eikesdalen (western) is more spectacular but both valleys are incredible to visit. This is my experience here: https://youtu.be/p8Oq-rlMFdE
and the final part of this video: https://youtu.be/om-NSynX0I8
Awesome, thanks. I am in Sunndalsøra now, after bypassing the three old tunnels from Oppdøl on the footpath (nothing I can recommend btw.). Going west then today. Maybe I just do the full loop then. Thanks again!
