At present, it will never open again. However, last year, they removed the big rock slide mess that I experienced in 2021. Many cyclists reported it was easy to get past, but we don’t know yet if another landslide occurred this winter. Everyone cycles the road at their own risk, but I believe you will be fine if no major rockfalls happen this winter. There is a bus option if blocked.
