Ikke for ritt, ikke for Instagram-trofeer, men for lange reiser gjennom landskapet, stille veier, lange dager og en f\u00f8lelse av \u00e5 bevege seg gjennom et land i stedet for \u00e5 bes\u00f8ke et sted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I hele EU ansl\u00e5s det at sykkelturismen vokser med rundt 91 % \u00e5rlig. I Norge kan veksten v\u00e6re h\u00f8yere, men sannheten er at vi egentlig ikke vet det. Det finnes ingen p\u00e5litelige nasjonale tall. Og denne mangelen p\u00e5 data f\u00e5r konsekvenser.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For n\u00e5r noe vokser uten \u00e5 bli m\u00e5lt, er det sjelden planlagt for. P\u00e5 den tiden var det en genuint imponerende bragd. Det fantes ikke Google Maps, ingen GPX-filer, ingen turbeskrivelser, ingen digital kartinfrastruktur. En liten gruppe mennesker, med begrensede verkt\u00f8y, samlet et nasjonalt nettverk nesten fra bunnen av. Noen av disse rutene er fortsatt utmerkede, for eksempel Kystriksveien Fv17 fra Halalan til Nordkapp, som fortsatt er en av de store sykkelturene i Europa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men det har alltid v\u00e6rt en svakhet, og det er en som aldri har blitt ordentlig adressert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For ofte blir syklister dyttet ut p\u00e5 travle hovedveier fordi det \u201cikke finnes noe annet alternativ\u201d. Veier som aldri ble designet for sykling. Veier med tung godstrafikk. Veier hvor stress erstatter opplevelsen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mer enn 25 \u00e5r senere blir syklister fortsatt kastet ut p\u00e5 de samme veiene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rv7 mellom Haugast\u00f8l og Geilo er et perfekt eksempel. Tjueto kilometer uten noe alternativ. Lastebiler, fart, spenning, b\u00e5de for syklister og bilister. Dette er ikke god turisme. Det skaper frustrasjon p\u00e5 alle kanter, og det skader Norges omd\u00f8mme som et reisem\u00e5l for trygg, gjennomtenkt reise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det frustrerende er at l\u00f8sningen ofte er enkel. En parallell grusvei langs den strekningen ville fjerne konflikten fullstendig. En beskjeden investering ville l\u00f8se et langvarig problem og skape \u00f8konomiske muligheter gjennom sakte reiseliv.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Men sykkelturisme i Norge har sjelden blitt behandlet som infrastruktur. Men det&nbsp;<em>er<\/em>&nbsp;en annen tiln\u00e6rming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De siste fem \u00e5rene har jeg syklet, kartlagt, testet, gjenopptatt og finjustert grusveier over hele Norge. Veier som allerede eksisterer. Veier bygget for skogbruk, lokal industri, hytteadkomst og et landlig liv. Veier som er en del av det arbeidende landskapet, ikke skj\u00f8r villmark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mange av disse veiene ser n\u00e5 sv\u00e6rt lite trafikk. Industrien de en gang tjente har endret seg eller falmet. Ikke terrengkj\u00f8ring.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette poenget er viktig, s\u00e5 det m\u00e5 sies tydelig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Gravel Routes gj\u00f8r&nbsp;<strong>ikke<\/strong>&nbsp;involvere<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>bygge nye veier<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>ridning p\u00e5 sensitive stier<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>krysser gjennom uber\u00f8rt land<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>oppfordring til ulovlig eller utenforvegs ferdsel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Alle ruter bruker eksisterende offentlige grusveier. Veier som allerede er vedlikeholdt. Veier som allerede er anerkjent. Veier som allerede er en del av norsk arealplanlegging.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette er ikke eventyrreiseliv p\u00e5 bekostning av naturen. Alle kobles sammen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Syklistene kan sykle en hel rute fra ende til ende, eller kombinere seksjoner for \u00e5 lage sin egen reise. Denne fleksibiliteten er bevisst. Den lar folk reise i forskjellige hastigheter, over forskjellige tidsrammer, uten \u00e5 tvinge alle inn i samme korridor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Og det er her Cycle Norways rolle blir avgj\u00f8rende.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Forvaltning, ikke bare publisering<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Cycle Norway n\u00f8yer seg ikke med \u00e5 publisere GPX-filer og s\u00e5 bare la det v\u00e6re med det.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi fungerer som den&nbsp;<strong>steward<\/strong>&nbsp;av nettverket.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det betyr:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ruter blir aktivt administrert, ikke statiske linjer p\u00e5 et kart<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>problemer kan tas opp direkte, med offentlige kontakt detaljer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>endringer i arealbruk, infrastruktur eller milj\u00f8press reflekteres over tid<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette er noe store statlige institusjoner sliter med \u00e5 gj\u00f8re strukturelt. Det krever kontinuitet, ansvarlighet og lokal kunnskap over \u00e5r, ikke prosjektperioder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GPX-filene vil v\u00e6re fritt tilgjengelige p\u00e5 localhost:4431\/. Ryttere m\u00e5 opprette en gratis konto og godta en tydelig adferdskode som dekker grunneiere, dyreliv, sesongforhold og respektfull oppf\u00f8rsel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dette handler ikke om kontroll. Den representerer orientering snarere enn destinasjon. Dette er viktig. Disse rutene handler ikke om \u00e5 lede folk til ett enkelt synspunkt eller bilde. De handler om navigasjon gjennom landskapet, dag etter dag.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Den ytre ringen refererer subtilt til et grusdekk, og forankrer symbolet i grussykling uten \u00e5 ty til klisjeer. Det er ingen fjell, ingen ryttere, ingen trendy grafikk. Det blir fort utdatert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fargepaletten er nedtonet og jordn\u00e6r, designet for \u00e5 gli inn i omgivelsene heller enn \u00e5 dominere dem. Dette er et merke ment \u00e5 veilede, ikke \u00e5 rope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mest viktig er det at logoen fungerer like godt p\u00e5 et treskilt i en avsidesliggende dal som p\u00e5 et digitalt kart. Hver rute forteller en historie om geografi, historie og hvordan folk har beveget seg gjennom dette landet lenge f\u00f8r turisme var et konsept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Rutene er utformet med innspill fra nordmenn med dyp erfaring innen bikepacking, sakte reising og respekt for stedet. Min rolle har v\u00e6rt \u00e5 fungere som limet, som samler denne kunnskapen til noe brukbart, leselig og konsekvent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enhver fremtidig utvidelse m\u00e5 oppfylle strenge kriterier. Disse rutene er kuratert, ikke folkefinansiert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Det motsatte av instagramturisme<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Skadene for\u00e5rsaket av masse, bilde-drevet turisme i Norge er reelle. N\u00e5r tusenvis jager det samme bildet, bygger det seg raskt opp press p\u00e5 s\u00e5rbare steder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Gravel Routes er utviklet for \u00e5 gj\u00f8re det motsatte.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Det er ingen enkelt destinasjon. Ingen trakt. Ingen snarvei. Rytterne m\u00e5 legge ned innsatsen hver dag, og bel\u00f8nningen er intern snarere enn performativ. Mindre delbar. Mer meningsfull.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00d8konomisk st\u00f8tter rutene overnatting, mat, tjenester og attraksjoner i mange regioner, sakte og jevnt. Generelt sett er de mer krevende enn de nasjonale sykkelrutene. I stedet for \u00e5 f\u00f8lge flate dalbunner eller trafikkfylte hovedveier, f\u00f8rer de syklistene gjennom mer kupert og landlig terreng med lite trafikk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Noen ruter er enkle og f\u00f8lger utmerkede grusveier nesten fra start til slutt. Andre inkluderer korte \u00absykle-og-b\u00e6re\u00bb-strekninger, og tungt turutstyr anbefales ikke p\u00e5 disse rutene. Ryttene b\u00f8r v\u00e6re moderat spreke, komfortable med egen navigasjon og ha grunnleggende friluftskunnskaper. For ryttere som kommer til Norge for det <strong>f\u00f8rste gang<\/strong>, spesielt for <strong>langdistansesykkling<\/strong>, <strong>EuroVelo 1 <\/strong>forblir det ideelle utgangspunktet. Den er stort sett asfaltert, flat mange steder, godt etablert, lett \u00e5 navigere dag for dag, og har hyppige fasiliteter langs ruten.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>National Gravel Routes b\u00f8r helst betraktes som <strong>neste steg<\/strong>, noe man gj\u00f8r etter \u00e5 ha f\u00e5tt erfaring med \u00e5 sykle lange distanser i Norge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Cyclists are coming to Norway in growing numbers.
