Skjult i det nordvestlige hj\u00f8rnet av Oslos store skog, Nordmarka, ligger en av regionens bratteste og mest dramatiske stigninger:&nbsp;<strong>Gyrihaugen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vi tok fatt p\u00e5 den fra bygda \u00c5sa ved Steinsfjorden, den t\u00f8ffere og mer naturskj\u00f8nne siden. Veien til Gyrihaugen ble bulldozet frem for et n\u00e5 forlatt milit\u00e6rt radartprosjekt, ment \u00e5 v\u00e6re en del av NATOs nordlige overv\u00e5kningsnettverk. Etter \u00e5r med sprenging og rydding gjennom vernet skog, ble radaren aldri installert p\u00e5 grunn av forstyrrelsesproblemer. Det eneste som ble igjen? Med seksjoner som n\u00e5r&nbsp;<strong>17%-gradient<\/strong>, stramme h\u00e5rn\u00e5lssvinger og lange, vedvarende stigninger, det er en test av bein og mentalitet. Om den forblir sykkelbar i fremtiden er usikkert. Etter \u00e5 ha n\u00e5dd toppen kan du sykle nedover mot vest i retning Lommedalen og fortsette tilbake til byen langs grus- og skogsveier.
