B\u00e5tturen fra Bergen var behagelig og jeg ble godt matet! Jeg ventet i M\u00e5l\u00f8y en time for \u00e5 hente leverand\u00f8rer, og klokken 7 startet jeg opp langs kysten.<\/p>\n<p>Jeg hadde ingen anelse om hva jeg kunne forvente og var usikker p\u00e5 om denne ruten kunne konkurrere med andre omr\u00e5der i Norge. Etter ca. 20 km inns\u00e5 jeg at jeg aldri skulle tvile p\u00e5 Norge! Utsikten, selv i d\u00e5rlig v\u00e6r, ble bedre for hver kilometer jeg syklet. Da jeg n\u00e5dde Vestkapp-halv\u00f8ya, tok jeg opp kameraet hvert 2. minutt. Hele omr\u00e5det har en unik atmosf\u00e6re med fjell som reiser seg fra fjordene, sm\u00e5 beskyttede viker med sandstrender, og innsj\u00f8er og skoger som dekker de indre delene av kysten. Den 5 kilometer lange oppstigningen er sv\u00e6rt krevende, med en gjennomsnittlig stigning p\u00e5 10% det meste av veien. MEN utsikten er fantastisk rundt hvert eneste sving! Da jeg n\u00e5dde toppen, kunne jeg ha blitt der hele dagen! P\u00e5 s\u00f8rsiden har du utsikt over en sv\u00e6rt karrig fjellkjede i brune farger, som er unik for denne delen av landet. P\u00e5 nordsiden ligger h\u00f8yere sn\u00f8dekte fjell med all den elegansen og verdigheten en fjellkjede kan by p\u00e5. Til slutt, mot vest, har du det store, vidstrakte Atlanterhavet som strekker seg s\u00e5 langt \u00f8yet kan se.
