The Snow Doesn\u2019t Clear Until July<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The whole Rallarvegen route usually isn\u2019t snow-free until early\/mid-July. The lower section from&nbsp;<strong>Haugast\u00f8l to Finse<\/strong> normally opens by mid-June. If you want to ride the full stretch, wait until July &amp; August. Train Access and Bike Carriages<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>The&nbsp;<strong>Bergensbanen train<\/strong>&nbsp;runs parallel to the route with stops at Haugast\u00f8l, Finse, Myrdal, Upsete, and Fl\u00e5m (connecting train). Fl\u00e5m or Haugast\u00f8l Aren&#8217;t the Only Ending<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Most cyclists finish in&nbsp;<strong>Fl\u00e5m<\/strong> or <strong>Haugast\u00f8l<\/strong>, but you don\u2019t have to. Easy Train Connections from Myrdal<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>From&nbsp;<strong>Myrdal station<\/strong>, commuter trains run to Bergen. Bikes are allowed without reservation, just walk them on. For a gravel adventure, get off at&nbsp;<strong>Upsete<\/strong> straight after the tunnel, a tiny station that connects to a stunning gravel road to&nbsp;<strong>Voss<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><div class=\"theme-image-wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cyclenorway.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/04\/rallarvegen-flamsbanen-.jpg\" alt=\"rallarvegen-flamsbanen\" class=\"wp-image-8920\"\/><\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">8. Water Is Everywhere<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>You don\u2019t need to haul litres of water. Fresh mountain streams are everywhere along the route. Bike Rentals Along the Route<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>No bike? No problem. You can rent quality MTB bikes at&nbsp;<strong>Haugast\u00f8l<\/strong>,&nbsp;<strong>Finse<\/strong>, Myrdal, and&nbsp;<strong>Fl\u00e5m<\/strong>.
